Are these original books, or reprints?

Original editions, bought through authorised distributors. That is the entire point of the shop. If a book you receive from us is not what we said it is, send it back at our cost and we will refund you in full.

How can I tell an original from a counterfeit myself?

Look at three things. Hold a page of code up and check that a lowercase l and a digit 1 are still different shapes; on a photocopied run they blur into each other. Check that coloured diagrams are still in colour. And compare the page count printed on the copyright page with the last numbered page in the book.

Where do you deliver?

Everywhere in Nepal. Inside Kathmandu Valley an order usually arrives in one to two working days. Outside the Valley it is three to five, depending on the district.

How much is delivery?

Free inside Kathmandu Valley on orders over Rs 3,000. Below that, and everywhere outside the Valley, the charge is shown at checkout before you pay. There is nothing added afterwards.

How do I pay?

Cash on delivery is available inside Kathmandu Valley. We also take eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay and direct Nabil Bank transfer.

The book I want is not on the site. Can you get it?

Often, yes. Send us the title and the ISBN if you have it via our contact page. We will tell you whether we can get it, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take, before you commit to anything.

Why are the prices what they are?

Accepted Answer

An original book is printed once, properly, and the people who made it are paid. A photocopy skips all of that, which is why it is cheaper and why it is worse. We price as close to the landed cost as we can and we do not run fake discounts.

Question 8

Do you take returns?

Accepted Answer

Yes, within seven days, as long as the book is in the condition it arrived in. If it arrived damaged or it is the wrong book, that is on us and we cover the return.

Question 9

Can you supply a whole team or a university course?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email us the list and the number of copies. Bulk orders take a little longer to arrive and cost less per copy.
