Why editions matter01The letters stay separate
Code is only useful when you can read it. Look at a lowercase l beside the digit 1: sharp, distinct characters make a difference when every character matters.
02The diagrams keep their meaning
A diagram needs its labels, lines, and legends. Compare with the publisher's sample pages to check that colour, where used in that edition, and fine detail have been preserved.
03The edition checks out
Match the ISBN, publisher, edition, and page count with the publisher's listing. A different regional edition can be legitimate; check the details for that exact edition.
